Beautify Maplewood — Project #1!
In November of 2007 Cheryl Robinson, Richmond Heights resident and Debbie Tolstoi, Maplewood resident worked with the Maplewood-Richmond Heights 7th grade class in the first project to beautify Maplewood. Robinson and Tolstoi gave presentations to the entire 7th grade class on the values of community gardening and information about the varietes of bulbs they were going to be planting.

The following day Cheryl and Debbie along with Anne-Marie Baily of Maplewood and Bert Risch of Richmond Heights worked with Tammy Brown, Social Studies teacher and the students to plant Daffodils and Crocus bulbs along the walk in front of the Maplewood City Hall. Every student was provided the opportunity to plant the bulbs. It was a great day for all involved. Keep your eyes open this spring for the results!
